William Harwood

William joined Harwood Wealth Management as a wealth advisor in 2020. What he enjoys most about being a wealth advisor is developing relationships and making a difference in people’s lives.

He holds his Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations through LPL Financial, and has also earned his South Carolina Life, Accident, and Health Insurance certificate. 

William attended Elon University before transferring to Memphis University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Sport and Leisure Management from their Kemmons Wilson School of Hospitality & Resort Management. An accomplished athlete, his collegiate golf career saw him earn two individual and three team wins, the 2018 South Carolina State Amateur Champion title, and the 2018 – 2019 Colonial Athletic Association Conference Player of the Year.  

Outside of work, William enjoys taking walks, reading, golfing, playing pickleball, and watching college football. William is a resident of Greenville, SC.
